How You Opt-In to SMS Messages
When you create a Family Stitch account or are added to a family, you have the option to receive SMS notifications. This is an optional feature that you can enable or disable at any time.
During account setup, you will see:
(Optional) Receive event reminders and family updates via text message. Standard messaging rates may apply. You can opt out at any time.
By checking this box, you provide explicit consent to receive SMS messages from Family Stitch. This checkbox is optional - you can use Family Stitch without enabling SMS notifications.
Types of Messages You May Receive
- Event Reminders
Notifications about upcoming family events (1 hour, 1 day, 2 days, or 1 week before)
- RSVP Requests
Invitations to respond to family events
- Family Updates
Important updates shared by family members
Message frequency varies based on your family's activity. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
How to Opt-Out
Option 1: Text STOP
Reply STOP to any message from Family Stitch to immediately stop receiving SMS notifications.
Option 2: Account Settings
Log in to your Family Stitch account, go to Account Settings, and toggle off SMS notifications for any or all of your families.
You can re-enable SMS notifications at any time through your account settings or by texting START.
Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Family Stitch does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
Your Privacy
- Your phone number is only used for Family Stitch notifications
- We never sell or share your phone number with third parties
- We never send marketing or promotional messages
- Your consent choice is stored securely and can be changed at any time
